Stephen Wiener – Outstanding Tutoring Services!
I can’t say enough about Stephen Wiener’s extraordinary ability to teach even the most mathematically challenged student! After many years in the workforce, I found myself having to change careers, which meant going back to college. I needed to take Elementary and Advanced Algebra, as well as Statistics. Math has never been my strength. And when my 8th grade son took 10 seconds to solve basic algebra problems I was agonizing over, I knew I needed a lot of help. I had no luck with the tutoring services offered at the college, but I was very fortunate to have found Steve.
I was not any easy student to teach - I just didn’t get the math. There were so many questions. And many times the same questions, over and over, and over again. Steve was able to see when my eyes were “glazing over” if I was having difficulty with a particular problem or concept, and would intuitively approach the work from a different angle. No question remained unanswered, and by the time we were done, I was able to pass these classes with A’s and B’s. I’m absolutely positive this never would have happened without him.
Steve is motivating, encouraging, and patient. He is a remarkable tutor who will make you feel at-ease, and his enthusiasm is contagious. It doesn’t matter if you think you won’t be able to succeed – Steve will find a way to make it happen. Call him!!! You won’t be disappointed…

Steve is a great tutor! I was taking Physics over the summer and the night before a big Physics exam I realized I didn’t understand an important topic. I contacted Steve, and he rearranged his schedule to do an online tutoring session with me that evening. I sought out Steve to work with my middle schooler as I realized my son had a huge reserve of curiosity about science and how the world works, and the limitations of the school curriculum and watching Youtube videos just wasn’t meeting his needs. My son’s sessions with Steve were everything we were looking for and more. Their free-ranging explorations and hands-on experimentation were driven by my son’s interests without boundaries. Long-languishing science and computer kits got opened and assembled, and I knew that as he got his hands dirty, my son was also getting cogent, comprehensive explanations of the processes and forces at work.
